Petition: Support Hindu Australians in Voting Out Labor in 2025

We, Hindu Australians, are disappointed with Albanese’s Labor Government and we will vote to get Labor out in the 2025 Federal Election.

Labor has let us down because:

  1.     They play a double-sided game whilst Hindu Australians are demonized: The Labor party has continued to work with politicians and media that have attacked Hindu Australians.  For example, the Australian Greens' Deputy Leader Mehreen Faruqi and Senator David Shoebridge have repeatedly demonised Hindu Australians. The ABC's "Infiltrating Australia" documentary accused Australian Hindus of disloyalty, while extremist violence against Hindus is being downplayed. (1,2) The Labor party whilst condemning these acts, continues to work with the ABC and The Greens.

2.     Labor has broken promises: In 2022, Albanese told the Hindu community that Labor would not make deals with the Greens. However, Labor allocated voting preferences to the Greens in both the 2024 Queensland state election and the 2025 Werribee by-election, directly breaking his promise.  Albanese's refusal to rule out a deal with the Greens in the upcoming 2025 Federal Election raises serious concerns for the Hindu community. (1, 3, 4)

3.     Rising hate crimes: Under a weak Labor government, there has been an increase in antisemitic terror attacks, as well as vandalism of Hindu temples and attacks on Hindus by extremist Khalistan supporters. These incidents show a disturbing trend of rising hate and violence with inadequate responses from the government. This neglect sends a dangerous message that extremist violence is tolerated. (5, 6, 7, 8, 9)

4.     Support for extremist violence: Labor has shown tolerance for extremist violence on Australian streets which will worsen if they form a minority government with Greens’ support. The Greens are openly hostile toward the Hindu community whilst the LNP has shown consistent opposition to extremist violence. (10)

5.     Risky visas and unvetted refugees: Labor made the risky decision to grant Australian visas to 3,000 refugees from Gaza with no proper vetting process. This raises significant security concerns as individuals with unclear backgrounds may pose a threat to national safety. The lack of proper scrutiny for these refugees is reckless and irresponsible.
