Who is impacted? We the People. Over 37.9 million Americans grapple with the harsh realities of poverty and homelessness every day. Among them are 11 million vulnerable children and 1.5 million veterans who have served our nation. These individuals face unimaginable hardships, deprived of basic necessities and enduring the long-term effects of poverty and homelessness. Their stories underscore the urgent need for change.

The stakes are high if we fail to address the pervasive issue of poverty and homelessness. Lives hang in the balance, and the very fabric of our society is at risk. Without intervention, vulnerable individuals and families will continue to suffer, perpetuating a cycle of despair and hopelessness. However, with concerted efforts and meaningful reforms, we have the opportunity to transform countless lives and build a brighter future for all.

There has never been a more critical moment to take decisive action against poverty and homelessness. As we witness the devastating impact of these issues on our communities, we recognize the moral imperative to act swiftly and decisively. Every passing day without action deepens the suffering of those in need and erodes the social fabric of our nation. Once we have the right amount of signatures, we plan to deliver our Petition From America to the United States Congress, and the leaders of our Nation to demand change, and end poverty and homelessness for our fellow 37.9 million poverty stricken Americans, once and for all! We the people...Petition our nation’s leaders to unite for the common good of our nation’s poverty stricken and most vulnerable, and “not seek the Republican or Democratic answer, but the right answer!  And not seek to fix blame for the past, but let us all accept our own responsibility for the future,” and move forward to find solutions that will end poverty and homelessness in America once and for all.
