I'm a passionate follower of the UFC, and I've noticed a disparity between the published fighter measurements and their actual heights. Many fighters appear to be either taller or shorter than what their official stats indicate. This inconsistency prevents fans from having an accurate understanding of the challenges fighters face inside the Octagon.

Sports should be a standard of honesty and transparency. The lack of precise measurements creates an environment of unfair competition and misinformation for fans. Establishing a public measuring standard would improve transparency and create a more level playing field.

There are many reliable ways to measure height accurately. According to the World Health Organization, a person’s height can be measured with a margin of error as small as one centimeter—more than enough for the UFC’s purposes.

For all these reasons, I respectfully ask the UFC to publicly measure all of its fighters so that we can have clearer and more accurate statistics. This transparency will not only benefit fans but also strengthen the integrity of this sport we all love.
