The Issue
Petition for the Review and Removal of the Current School Principal
We, the undersigned parents, guardians, and community members, respectfully request that the school district conduct an immediate investigation into the conduct, leadership practices, and school climate under the current principal.
Multiple parents have experienced and reported:
Unfair treatment and discriminatory practices
Abuse of authority and retaliation toward parents who raise concerns
Actions that limit or remove parent rights without proper justification
Lack of concern for student needs, inclusion, and overall safety
A pattern of dismissing parent communication and prioritizing reputation over student well-being
Additionally, it has come to our attention that numerous staff members and employees have their own concerns about the principal’s behavior, including:
Reports of unfair treatment of staff
A work environment where staff feel intimidated or unsupported
Staff stating they are afraid to speak up about issues because they fear retaliation or potential job loss
These concerns indicate a broader problem affecting the entire school community—not only parents and students, but also the employees who work directly with our children every day.
For these reasons, we request that the district:
Initiate a formal and impartial investigation into the principal’s conduct, leadership style, and treatment of parents and staff.
Assess her fitness for the position, including whether new leadership is necessary for the safety, climate, and well-being of students and employees.
Protect staff and parents from retaliation during and after the investigation.
Restore and respect parent involvement and rights, ensuring transparency and proper procedures going forward.
Our children and school staff deserve a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where student needs always come first. We ask the district to take these concerns seriously and take the appropriate action to ensure a healthy school climate.
