Location Change: Rally + Board Meeting Now at FWAFA

The board has moved Monday’s meeting to a new location. Everything else stays the same.

New location: Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts Theater, 3901 S. Hulen Street, Fort Worth, TX 76109

Rally: Monday, August 31 at 5:00 PM, outside FWAFA

Board meeting: Monday, August 31 at 6:00 PM, in the FWAFA Theater

Please update your plans and help us spread the word. If you already told someone about the old location, reach back out to them today.

If you want to speak at public comment, you must sign up in advance.

A few things to know before you sign up:

 • Comments must be submitted before 1:00 PM on Monday, August 31. After that, you cannot sign up.

 • You have to be present at the meeting for your comment to be heard.

 • Speakers get three minutes each.

 • Board policy prohibits discussing complaints against employees during open forum. Keep your remarks focused on the board, its decisions, and the agenda items.

What’s on the agenda Monday: lease agreements for both TeSA and FWAFA, three separate budget amendments, the proposed 2026-2027 budgets, and the 2026-2027 compensation schedule. These are exactly the financial decisions we have been asking questions about.
