In Cebu, homelessness affects thousands of individuals and families, specifically those who barely get by in life. Many are forced to live of streets, under bridges, or on abandoned areas. They lack the basic necessities such as; clean water, electricity, and edible food. They are in high risks of hunger, violence, and illnesses. 

If this crises continues, many people will have to suffer and issues related to their safety, health, and well being will worsen. Children who are supposed to have a bright future will suffer and they will not be able to attain the proper education they need. If changes occur because we took action, these individuals can gain opportunity for a better and safer life. Change means hope and restored dignity for the most vulnerable.

We have to act because homelessness is a issue the will never stop growing. If we don't act now it will have a bigger impact on those individuals and families who suffer from it. Addressing homelessness is not just morals but it is an investment in the nnations future. Through united efforts and immediate action we can insure that a safe and wonderful society will be achieved by us Cebuanos.
