Dear Supporters,

As of 5:50pm today (Friday), we have reached 500 signatures—just three days after launching the petition. Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared it so far.

It feels only fitting that our next goal should be “1,000 signatures by Thursday.”

We’ve also shared the progress of the petition with the Mornington Peninsula Councillors and the CEO this evening to keep them informed of the strong community support.

How can we reach 1,000 and beyond?

 - If you haven’t signed yet, please take a moment to do so now.
 - Our members will be at the Rye Market (feel free to pop down and say hi!) and the Victorian Pickleball Open this weekend collecting more signatures.
 - If you haven’t already, please share the petition with family, friends, work colleagues, WhatsApp groups, and your Facebook network.

Imagine the compounding effect if everyone who has already signed encouraged just 10 more people to add their name. Together we can make this happen.
