No Sheriff anywhere should operate without accountability because the cost is too high, and we all pay. If everything is good with the Sheriff, then accountability shouldn't be a problem.  The growing deputy misconduct, the number of deaths in the jails, the failure to report those deaths to the Department of Justice correctly and timely.... and even more importantly, report to the families of the men and women who lost their lives in Riverside County Jails,
