The lack of available parking spaces for residents in Springhill Gardens and the recent ban on pavement parking has resulted in multiple cases of car damage, penalty fares for residents and also now means that access for emergency vehicles is now compromised, due to cars being parked on the road off pavement. 

Despite attempts to contact the council about this issue, residents have been ignored. This petition is for residents who have been affected by the lack of parking and would like to see some sort of change come into effect. Whether this be resident parking permits or fairer distribution of parking tickets in this highly overused area in Shawlands.
