Petition for More Trees and a Clean-Up Drive in Our Barangay.
Petition for More Trees and a Clean-Up Drive in Our Barangay.
The Issue
To:
The Honorable Barangay Captain and Officials
Barangay West, Kibawe, Bukidnon
Subject: Request for a Tree Planting and Clean-Up Drive Program
Greetings of peace and respect!
Who is impacted?
We, the students and residents of Barangay West, Kibawe, Bukidnon, are greatly affected by the lack of trees and the increasing litter in our surroundings. Many areas in our barangay have become polluted and less green, which leads to hotter temperatures, unpleasant sights, and even health risks due to accumulated waste. As young people who live and study here, we are directly impacted by the condition of our environment every day.
What is at stake?
If this issue continues to be ignored, our barangay may face worse environmental problems in the future such as flooding, poor air quality, and diseases caused by dirty surroundings. However, if we take action now through tree planting and regular clean-up drives, we can restore the natural beauty of our community, improve public health, and create a cleaner and safer place for everyone.
Why is now the time of act?
Now is the best time to act because environmental issues are becoming more serious each year. The effects of pollution and climate change are already being felt, even in small communities like ours. By starting these activities today, we can protect our barangay, inspire others to take part, and ensure a greener future for the next generation.
We are respectfully requesting the barangay officials to organize and support a tree planting and monthly clean-up drive program. We, the students of Kibawe National High School – Poblacion Campus, are willing to volunteer and participate in this activity to help make our barangay cleaner, greener, and more beautiful.
Thank you very much for your time and concern for the welfare of our community.
Respectfully yours,
Faizah Marie Nicole R. Zapanta
