In the past week, a series of revelations have come to light, echoing the concerns I've raised about our community's housing situation. As homeowners, we sought cooperation from developers and builders, only to be met with disdain and disregard. Our collective voice, representing over a hundred minority homeowners, was mocked instead of heard.

But silence was not an option.

What began as a solitary effort to seek justice has now escalated into a multiagency investigation, scrutinizing the very fabric of trust we place in our housing system. The allegations? Systemic deception and the forgery of housing inspections—actions that undermine the safety and integrity of our homes.

Yesterday marked a turning point as officials arrived for a thorough inspection. The very individuals who once signed off on questionable approvals now faced scrutiny. Despite their presence, they avoided any interaction with me, perhaps due to my role in spearheading this movement.

This is more than a personal narrative; it's a testament to the power of community and the importance of standing up for what is right. The journey is far from over, and I am committed to sharing each step, hoping to inspire and empower others facing similar battles.
