Petition for Improved Animal Welfare in Maddela, Quirino.

I, a student that stands for further growth, urge the Municipality of Maddela to take action in improving the animal welfare in our community.

Animal welfare is crucial for a compassionate and thriving society. It ensures animals have a good life, free from suffering, with their basic needs met, preventing cruelty and fostering empathy in humans. 

Numerous animals in our town face challenges such as neglect, abandonment, and lack of access to proper care.

I believe that all animals deserve a safe and humane environment because they're not just an animal, they are still a part of our family and we should treat them as one. They deserve to be loved and cared for as much as we humans do to others.

I, THE PROPOSER, DEMAND THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:

1. Increased Funding for Animal Control and Shelter Services: Requesting a significant increase in funding for the to expand resources, improve facilities, and provide better care for animals in need.

2. Enactment of Stronger Animal Cruelty Laws: I urge the passage of stricter laws against animal cruelty, including harsher penalties for perpetrators.

3. Promotion of Responsible Pet Ownership: I support the implementation of educational programs promoting responsible pet ownership, including information on spaying/neutering, vaccination, and proper animal care.

4. Expansion of Adoption and Foster Programs:  Requesting the expansion of adoption and foster programs to help find loving homes for animals in local shelters and reduce euthanasia rates.

5. Reach out Program: I encourage the town to actively engage the community in animal welfare initiatives through outreach programs, volunteer opportunities, and educational events.
