Dear Cerritos College Community,

We, the undersigned students, faculty, and concerned members of the Cerritos College community, hereby submit this petition to advocate for enhanced campus security measures, specifically the installation of cameras in critical areas such as the Student Center and other buildings currently lacking sufficient surveillance.

Background:

Recent incidents of vandalism and security concerns during events like Club Rush have highlighted the need for improved security measures on our campus. The absence of cameras in key locations has left areas vulnerable to misconduct, hindering the safety and well-being of students and the broader community.

Objectives:

1. Install Cameras in Critical Areas:

   We urge the administration to install surveillance cameras in strategic locations across campus, particularly in areas prone to security issues, such as the Student Center, where students gather for events and club activities.

2. Enhance Safety and Deter Vandalism:
