PETITION FOR CROSSWALK INSTALLATION 
1128 N Orange Grove Ave – West Hollywood, CA

To the City of West Hollywood Engineering Department:

We, the undersigned residents, parents, business owners, and community stakeholders, are writing to formally request the installation of a clearly marked crosswalk at 1128 N Orange Grove Ave.

This area serves a high volume of pedestrian traffic, including families with young children attending Fountain Day School. During peak hours, especially school drop-off and pick-up, crossing the street can be unsafe due to speeding vehicles and inconsistent driver yielding.

The urgency is increasing due to an upcoming development project that will eliminate a heavily used parking lot, forcing more pedestrians to cross a busier street.
This location is directly connected to an early childhood program serving young children, who are particularly vulnerable in traffic environments.
We respectfully urge the City to prioritize evaluation and installation of a crosswalk at this location.
