Capri-Sun, one of the most iconic beverages for children in the 21st century recently changed its straws from the iconic orange plastic ones to white paper ones; presumably for the product to seem more "eco-friendly". This has completely ruined the experience of enjoying a Capri-Sun and here are the main points to why the change was a terrible decision:

1. It is harder to pierce the opening of the Capri-Sun with the paper straw because of its softness. It also often bends when taking it out of the plastic casing leading to further difficulty piercing the opening.
2. Unless you drink the Capri-Sun quickly enough the straw turns soft and "mushy".
3. It doesn't even make sense to change the straw to a paper one since the casing for the straw is still plastic, not to mention: THE WHOLE CONTAINER IS PLASTIC!!
