We are pleased to share an encouraging update regarding the growing community concerns outlined in the petition at change.org/lakesideattessera.

Councilman Shane Saum (Place 1) has responded thoughtfully to our outreach, acknowledging the seriousness of the issues raised around the HOA-maintained public parkland, PID obligations, and marketing transparency. He has committed to attending this Saturday’s community event (separate group: tesserataxpayers.org) in Tessera to listen directly to residents and begin working toward a solution that is fair, responsible, and transparent.

Councilman Saum emphasized that if he were in our shoes—purchasing homes without full disclosure of long-term financial obligations tied to public amenities—he too would be upset. He has expressed a strong interest in engaging with residents both at the meeting and individually.
