We, the undersigned, respectfully submit this petition to request an urgent, thorough, and impartial investigation into Harvey Dupiton, reportedly associated with the organization UNA HAITI and originally from Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti.
Our request arises from concerns regarding possible connections between Mr. Dupiton and individuals or networks associated with the Viv Ansanm criminal coalition, particularly the 400 Mawozo gang. We believe these concerns warrant careful examination by the appropriate competent authorities to determine whether any credible evidence exists of relationships, collaboration, financial transactions, logistical support, or other activities that may violate Haitian or applicable international law.
We recognize the seriousness of these concerns and do not intend to present unverified allegations as proven facts. Rather, we call upon the relevant authorities to conduct an independent investigation based on reliable evidence, verified information, and established legal procedures.
Given the continuing insecurity and the devastating impact of armed gang activity on communities throughout Haiti, we believe that any credible indication of a connection between individuals or organizations and criminal networks deserves appropriate scrutiny. The safety of Haitian citizens, the protection of vulnerable communities, and the promotion of transparency and accountability must remain priorities.
We therefore respectfully request that the competent authorities:
1. Open an urgent preliminary inquiry into the concerns raised regarding Harvey Dupiton and any relevant activities associated with UNA HAITI.
2. Examine any credible evidence of possible links to Viv Ansanm, the 400 Mawozo gang, or other criminal networks, where legally appropriate.
3. Verify relevant information and documentation, including any substantiated financial, organizational, or communications records that may assist the investigation.
4. Determine whether any laws have been violated and, if sufficient evidence exists, take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.
5. Protect the integrity of the investigation, including the confidentiality and safety of witnesses and individuals who provide information in good faith.
