We, the undersigned residents and taxpayers of Campbellsville and Taylor County, Kentucky, formally petition the Taylor County Fiscal Court and the Judge-Executive to establish a dedicated, fee-free household trash drop-off location or a monthly community disposal day for local residents.
Currently, the lack of a no-cost, accessible trash disposal option places an unfair financial and logistical burden on local households. This gap in public services contributes directly to

• increased roadside litter
• illegal dumping on backroads,
•  and unsafe private burning

All of which degrade our community's natural beauty, lower property values, and pose severe environmental and public health risks.

By providing a free household waste drop-off site (restricted to non-commercial, Taylor County residential use), the county will actively promote a cleaner, safer environment, support low-income families, and significantly reduce the taxpayer dollars currently spent on cleaning up illegal dump sites. We urge our elected officials to prioritize this vital community infrastructure improvement .
