After being released in 1988, the score for the Ron Howard movie WILLOW has been regarded as one of the most brilliant and amazing movie scores of all time.  There are however, many musical cues in the movie that have yet to be released.

Successful expansions for movie soundtracks is a great industry.  The 2-CD expansions of KRULL, BRAVEHEART, STAR WARS and  DANCES WITH WOLVES were major successes.  People love the WILLOW soundtrack so much theyve made bootleg versions of the expanded pieces.  OMNI Music recently released sheet music of the entire soundtrack. 

Intrada, Lala Land Records and Varese are just a few companies that cater to enthusiasts and musicians.  I am constantly seeing inquiries for the expanded WILLOW soundtrack, especially since the tragic death of James Horner last year.  

I think it would be beneficial both financially and for the fans to release even a limited edition of the expanded soundtrack.  

Would love support from my fellow soundtrack and fantasy enthusiasts to petition Lucasfilm, whom I understand owns the rights, to release something that could only make them money and more beloved.  Thank you!
