As Angeleno's and the world grieve the loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and the 7 others, we ask you join in in signing this petition. 

Kobe Bryant a young man who contributed so much to both the local and global community - in signing this petition, to name a street that intersects L.A. Live, Staples Center and Olympic Blvd to KOBE BRYANT Lane or Drive (currently Francisco St). We also propose to AEG, L.A. Live - that the walkway from Olympic to the main plaza to be named the “KOBE & GIGI” paseo, and the main plaza in front of the Staple Center to the “KOBE BRYANT” plaza.

By taking this action, it will forever memorialize Kobe B. Bryant, a 17-year-old kid who came to Los Angeles and stole the hearts of Angelenos' from all walks of life. For a quarter-century, we watched the fiery ambitious kid become a man, a husband, a devoted father and family man.  A 5-time NBA champion, and arguably the greatest Laker of all time. Kobe Bryant went on to become a storyteller into retirement and again showed us his greatness by being the first former athlete to win an Oscar. All these moments happened here in Los Angeles; his athletic achievements and social contributions. The love, commitment to his family will forever be a shining example of his greatest quality. Kobe Bryant is truly an ambassador of our beloved City Of Angels and a hero, humanitarian to many worldwide.

Lets make this a reality for all those lost in the tragedy, Gianna, Kobe Bryant, the fans, for the city of Los Angeles, his family, his legacy, by Aug 24th of this year.
