Indications are that Argyll and Bute Council are convinced that raising the parking charge from £1 a day to an eye watering £9 a day is a good idea. They believe that this will increase the profit they make from the Arrochar car parks from approx. £10,000 to £90,000 in the first year!

We need to keep up the pressure on Councillors and MPs - please share the petition via Facebook / Twitter etc. and encourage friends to support it

Please also note that if you plan to use the car parks after 27.08.18 your £1 will not buy you a day it will buy you an hour - and as Argyll and Bute are very efficient at issuing PCN's you will almost certainly come back to a £60.00 fine
