We would secondly like to note that mathematically the proposed increase in percentage terms represents 800% and not 900% - since the previous daily fee was £1 and the proposed fee is £9

We hope this correction will not change your view on the unjustified parking fee increase proposed by the council. It is however important that the figures quoted in the petition are as accurate as possible so that the council have no grounds for challenging them
