This petition is to change the TPMS musical for 2024. Right now, Ms. Murphy and Ms. Sanchez have decided on Shrek the musical Jr. They posted a voting poll weeks before this and BEETLEJUICE Jr and Mean Girls Jr were the winning Musicals(Shrek was not in the lead whatsoever), Then Ms. Murphy posted on the google classroom that we are going to do Shrek the musical Jr, completely ignoring the results of the poll. Here are Reasons why we should not do Shrek the musical:

1) I have spoken to many people(not in drama club) and they have said they wouldn’t come and see the musical if we did Shrek the musical Jr. 
2) The set for Shrek the musical will be very expensive

3) Shrek the musical is very overused. Just last spring, Eastern Middle school put  on Shrek the musical.

4) Ms. Murphy stated that she wanted to do a musical that was familiar (done before) and there are many other better options that are familiar 

5) I have also discussed this topic with many drama club members and no one has said they want to do Shrek the Musical
