The Issue

Who is Impacted? - Palm Spings North Community

Drastic Impacts? - Small Business Owners in the Plaza, The residents on NW 77th Ct, The Residents on NW 175th St

What is at Stake? - This project threatens to tarnish the definition of small town living by setting a precedent for developing high-rise living spaces in a small-town residential area. PSN for half a century has remained a small town residential area, unincorporated, and a home for the nuclear family looking for a suburban life style. The neighborhood supports small business owners as local sources of goods, dining, and additional services. PSN is a town that still hosts christmas parades and halloween block parties. PSN is the spitting imgage of what modern-day small town living is! An apartment building would threaten not only the small businesses the project plans to evict (or temporarily put out of business), but also would introduce the potential for increased traffic and crime. We have seen the impact of conglomerate developments on the other side of i75 and the trickle down effect it has had on our community. This project threatens to evict a local daycare, a long standing family restuarant of several decades, a public library, and numerous other businesses. Do not be fooled, this project does nothing positive for our neighborhood. There is more than enough land elsewhere for Live Local to develop.

Concerns? - Privacy, Small Businesses, Crime, Traffic, Property Values, Neighborhood Aesthetic, etc.

Why is now the time to act? - Live local as a whole has a lot of power to get approved what ever they need to make this project go through. Now is the time to do what ever we can and make our voices heard. Sign today!
