Students are meeting new teachers, new environments, and new classrooms. This can be scary for some people especially LGBTQIA+ Kids. They have to worry about being outed, making sure teachers use their pronouns/preferred names, and many other struggles. All this is exciting all the teachers out there need to know that what these kids need after a long summer is a safe space to learn peacefully without harassment. So do talk to trusted adults, counselors, psychologists, therapists, and other people if you are experiencing mixed and dangerous emotions about the upcoming school year.
