We, the undersigned, Des Plaines residents, respectfully submit this petition requesting that the City not allow overdevelopment of high-rise high-density buildings in close proximity to, adjacent to, or on any residential street, in any location in the City of Des Plaines.  In addition, we request that you deny the proposal of the zoning map amendment from C-3 to C-5, and all variations requested of 622 Graceland Apartments LLC to construct a seven-story, 131-unit apartment building at 622 Graceland Avenue, 1332 and 1368 Webford Avenue, because it is inconsistent with the neighborhood scale-and-character, and is located on a residential street.
