The South Fork Wind proposal is based on inaccurate projections of need for additional peak load resources and therefore should not be supported by our elected officials. 

As proposed the South Fork Wind project will negatively impact the efforts of the Towns of East Hampton and Southampton that are aimed at attaining 100% renewable energy and resiliency. 

The South Fork Wind project will further burden all PSEGLI ratepayers, particularly those on fixed incomes, with unwelcome rate increases.

We appeal to you, the elected officials of the Towns of East Hampton and Southampton, to renounce your support of the South Fork Wind proposal and to refocus your support on behind the meter load reduction and community resilience micro grids.
