Have Peter Jackson Re-Write, Re-Shoot, and Re-Edit The Hobbit Dual Films
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
Back in 2012 Peter Jackson started to release the prequel trilogy to the Lord of the Rings. The trilogy was originally meant to be two films and directed by Guillermo Del Toro. What came to final was Del Toro dropping off the project, all his pre-production scrapped, and Jackson was forced to direct the trilogy with barely any pre-production done. Along with Jackson getting sick during the shooting of the first installment we got a half baked trilogy that was executed terribly.
I believe with proper pre-production time, Peter Jackson could re-shoot certain scenes, re-edit existing scenes, and fully strengthen with the same cast to make a better Hobbit Motion Picture into two complete films.
The Middle Earth Saga should be a film series that lives on beyond anyone who made them and compared to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hobbit is nowhere close.
I believe this will also make New Line Cinema a lot of money as fans of the classic will get behind the idea of letting Peter Jackson take his time and make an adaption to it's fullest potential.
