Thank you to everyone so far who has signed the petition and I ask you again to keep recruiting, people have been brilliant bringing others on board. The petition is flying in Kilitmagh, with over 100 signatures from people in the town. Where do we go from here with our voice? Our one strong united voice that wants to see action? One of our campaigners has suggested a presence in the St Patricks day parade, a great idea for more visibility. Mayo County council don't appear to be budging on this issue, so let's have some ideas folks. Where do we go from here? For one, a local action group in Kiltimagh could be formed and start some serious lobbying, maybe some street signs on the crossing gates at the old station. If the people of Kiltimagh want to see this resource taken off them by a privately run company, about which some of the comments on this petition notice board have been hair raising, then what are people going to do about the IRD? Are they going to be allowed to get away taking this public resource? Get thinking folks about action and not just petitions, I will be sending some private emails to those who have opted in with their email address on the petition when they signed, watch out for emails from brenquinn@eircom.net with Kiltimagh Greenway Action in the subject line. Surely people of Kiltimagh will not sit idly by and watch this asset be privatised for the good of a few people....also keep a close eye on the sligomayogreenway page on FB. Thanks for joining the movement Brendan
