Far too many animals in Petco stores are subject to poor living conditions in various degrees, some cases being quite severe. Negligence towards the needs and welfare of these animals has led to undue deaths and severe injuries. Our goal is to improve the lives and overall health of the animals being kept in these stores so that these animals can not only be safer within the store environment, but also so that they can be happy and in good condition to live the best and fullest lives possible with the people looking to adopt them. It is immensely important that prospective employees are properly educated on the individual needs of each type of animal, from rodents to reptiles and everything in between. It is important to consider that animals are living creatures, not just products for sale.
