Marshall BioResources is one of the LARGEST breeders for the animal experimentation industry in the U.S. It is a factory farm of dogs (mostly beagles), cats, minipigs, guinea pigs, ferrets and mice. Their windowless warehouses contain somewhere around 23,000 DOGS and 40,000 FERRETS on any given day!! These poor animals are shipped to labs in the U.S. and around the world, where they’re often forced to inhale and ingest chemicals (like pesticides) or are subjected to heart failure experiments.  They’re also shipped to universities where they are used in invasive experiments, such as severing dogs’ spinal roots, cutting off their tails, implanting electrodes in their bladders, and having organs removed-while still alive. PAINKILLERS ARE NOT LEGALLY REQUIRED for ANY experiment in the U.S.!

Scott Marshall is the owner of Marshall BioResources and Marshall Pet Products. Ferrets from Marshall BioResources AND Marshall Pet Products are both sold at Petco. Ferrets can be easily identified by having 2 dots tattooed in their ears. If you buy either of Marshall Pet Products or ferrets at Petco, you are supporting this merciless company.

Literally ANY experiment goes!  For example, 8 month-old puppies had tubes forced down their throats for 52-56 days so they could be pumped full of cannabis extract. 7 of the puppies died before the end of the experiment, with the exam saying they died following “reflux and aspiration of stomach contents and/or formulated treatment into the lungs rather than a drug related effect.”

Please join us to demand Petco stop supporting this evil.

We have sent thousands and thousands of emails, but they’ve been ignored. We have no other choice but to take other forms of action to get our message across.

Please take merchandise from Marshall Pet Products off your shelves and discontinue the sale of ferrets from Marshall BioResources.  As you know, Marshall BioResources is one of the largest breeders for animal testing in the United States, and the money made by Marshall Pet Products goes directly into the same pockets.  Petco has already ended the sale of rabbits, large birds, and shock collars, but continuing to fund this cruelty is unacceptable.
