Imagine a pet store selling butchered cats as dog food.

For people with rabbits, this absurd and horrific scenario is reality.  Many pet stores, including locations of Global Pet Foods and Pet Valu, stock raw, canned, and dry rabbit as cat & dog food.

Some pet stores even procure live rabbits as "feeders", as prey for pet reptiles. (e.g. P.J.'s Pets on Yonge Street.  More here on the "live feeders" campaign.)

Such businesses are no friends of rabbits.  To buy there is to betray our rabbit companions.

We, the undersigned, companions of rabbits, call on each pet store to establish a consistent policy on rabbits: friends or food.

We, the undersigned, boycott all pet stores selling rabbits as food.
