Release Frankie to a Sanctuary Release Frankie to a Sanctuary

The Issue

Like most New World monkeys, capuchins are diurnal and arboreal. With the exception of a midday nap, they spend their entire day searching for food. They are undemanding regarding their habitat and can thus be found in many differing areas. Capuchins live in groups of 10 to 40 members & are considered the most intelligent New World monkeys.

We are humbly asking that the owners of Pet Stop release Frankie into a Sanctuary, where he can be properly cared for and live a life that he deserves.

Frankie has spent the last 8 years inside living in a small cage in the Pet Stop, he is not for sale.

I am extremely upset about Franky’s confinement in your store. Even though I know you must care for him, he has not been able to live out a natural life. In the wild he would be able to spend his life in the trees foraging and socializing with others of his species. Keeping him in a small cage where he doesn’t have any access to privacy is wrong. Also, his species is highly susceptible to the common human cold, other respiratory ailments, measles, chicken pox, and other viral human illnesses. Being in a public place open to people who may not show symptoms but are harboring these illnesses is detrimental to his health. But above all his confinement is heart-breaking. Even if he has adapted to his cage over the years, he was never meant to live out his life that way. Please consider moving him to a sanctuary or a zoo. There are many sanctuaries set up for monkeys like Frankie including Performing Animal Welfare Society, Jungle Friends, and the Primate Rescue Center. Thank you for your attention to this matter. [Optional] If you have any questions or would like more information, I can be reached at 555-123-4567 or at Name@email.com Sincerely

Sincerely,
