Currently, you can only have a Raccoon as a pet in certain states. Some of these states are Arkansas , Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, Michigan, Wyoming, and a couple others. Below is my note ;w;

Hello! My name is Charlie, and recently, I’ve really been interested in owning a raccoon as a pet. I was very excited! And quite frankly, my family would’ve let me have one..! But there’s an issue. I believe as of March 31st, 2021 Pet raccoons are illegal to keep as pets. I was absolutely devastated. I thought of trying to email my congressman then and there, but what if I got others to help me? That’s when I came here! Please help me out!.. I believe if enough people sign this, maybe the congressman of PA will see it! I’m not sure of what an impact it will make, but I’m willing to try.
