Pesticide Intoxication around the block of Seward/Custer/Sherman, Evanston, IL

Pesticide Intoxication around the block of Seward/Custer/Sherman, Evanston, IL
The Issue
On May 5 and 20 of 2021, a lawn on this block was treated with an herbicide called Lesco Three-Way Selective Herbicide. The main compounds of this non-natural product are synthetic 2,4-D, MCPP, and Dicamba (Monsanto). I work as a gardener at this yard, and because I wasn't aware, and there wasn’t any signalization, just after it was sprayed on May 20, I pull out and eat a bunch of Creeping Charlie, which is an edible plant that tastes like spinach. I was already sick with after-vaccine symptoms, but on that week I started to have cognition and blurry vision problems, and ended up at the ER on May 26, without reporting a possible intoxication. Since then, I was diagnosed with a chronic Brain Disease called Central Vertigo, which can be caused by intoxication. My hands have undiagnosed wounds exactly where at regions of contact with the contaminated creeping charlie I pulled. According to Federal regulations, the area treated with this pesticide should be isolated for 48 hours after the application, and it wasn’t. Federal regulations require this product to be applied within a minimum interval of 30 days. It was applied within 15 days. Moreover, Dicamba is known to evaporate and travel by air up to 3 miles , and it is one of the most aggressive pollinator killers. This means that more people and animals around this block or even further could have been intoxicated. If you or someone or some animal (including bees and butterflies) you known around this block had any symptoms of intoxication from May to date, please report to EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), to the National Pesticide Information Center, and to the Health Department of the City of Evanston. You can also sign this petition attesting to the damage you observed, and claim actions to avoid future intoxication to people and animals. Thank you.
