An example needs to be set for people. This man will not change his ways. And in 5 years time and $7500 later, he is free to do so again!. Not enough is done to punish those who violate the laws and hurt those that cannot speak nor defend themselves! . This is a revolting act of animal abuse and should not be taken lightly in any respect. This man has walked away with little than a slap on the wrist. And the dog has lost not only its leg but its faith in people. There are a lot of people out there that would love to see more extensive action taken against this sad excuse for a man.
