As a new fan of the Armored Core franchise, I was blown away by Armored Core 6. Unfortunately AC6 is the only installment available on current generation hardware. This limiting circumstance and other hardware restrictions limit new enthusiasts to playing older titles illegitimately.

My goal is to get previous AC games added to the PlayStation Classics Collection in North America. Mech games are considered a niche and are viewed as a potential risk to develop. Adding these games in the classics catalog will strengthen interest in AC/Mech games in North America. Playstation will get metrics info on the other AC games which will hopefully encourage the development of further installments. Gamers loved AC6 but with Fromsoft’s focus on Elden Ring this might be the only way to get more AC content on current-gen hardware.

The game series has a substantial following overseas. It’s time to grow that fan base in North America by allowing the young people to try the older AC games.

By signing this petition, we can persuade Playstation to acknowledge the fans' growing demand to add the older Armored Core games to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalogue. I urge you to join me in this call. It will fan the flames of interest towards the Armored Core series, inevitably leading to an increased demand for further installments.

Let's band together, sign the petition, and unite for our mutual love for Armored Core. Our wish to enjoy the older games on current-gen consoles today can become a reality tomorrow.
