The traditional practice in executing a school educational system is to follow a curriculum system that is prepared and provided by the Department of Education. The setup is vital for providing students all of the necessary knowledge and information for any career they may pursue in the future. However, this setup is not for everyone as some students are not capable of understanding the excessive amount of information. Another why the traditional practice fails because of the stress and pressure it causes to the learners. Fortunately, society has made workarounds on the curriculum system by a personalized learning system. 

Personalized learning is a recently-introduced method of education that has been improved throughout the years by the use of technology. The method also involves the learner choosing their classes or sessions of their interest. A study by The National Center on Education and the Economy  (NCEE) stated that personalized learning improves student performance by approximately 30%. Moreover, a report from The World Economic Forum states that critical thinking is one of the most needed skills for future jobs. Overall, personalized training is proven to be a significant improvement for learners in terms of their thinking skills.

With that, we firmly believe that personalized learning should be a way for students to learn effectively with discussions and knowledge tailored to their liking. It is a great way for learners to improve their skills. Current corporations demand people with mastery rather than jack of all trades. We urge the Philippines to attempt or at least consider this change for the better of the country. By doing so, we ensure the success and excellence of their lives from school and beyond.
