Permit Visitations Within Individual Tiny Homes in Our Micro Community

Permit Visitations Within Individual Tiny Homes in Our Micro Community
The Issue
As dwellers of our unique micro community, we cherish the micro freedoms we expect and the macro respect we offer to each other. However, there exists a regulation that prohibits us from entering one another's individual tiny homes, suppressing the sense of community that we strive for.
As adults, we know how to conduct ourselves responsibly. We believe that if we choose to open the door of our tiny home to another community member, that's a risk we should be allowed to take regarding any potential issues such as theft or injury. This means that we voluntarily waive the responsibility of the director of our tiny homes if such incidents occur.
Given the significant rise in tiny houses in the United States, from a few scattered enthusiasts to over 10,000 today (as per the American Tiny House Association), similar rules are being relaxed in communities across America. Being inclusive aids in strengthening community bonds while imposing no threat to individual privacy as these visits are strictly consensual.
We urge our local council to reconsider this rule in the spirit of fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility. Please sign this petition to support the reform of this restrictive rule and to endorse our building community spirit within our beautiful and unique tiny homes.
