Georgia currently only allows in-person notarizations and prevents Georgia Notaries Public from performing Remote Online Notarizations. While simultaneously permitting Notaries Public from other states to perform Remote Online Notarizations.

If Georgia Governor Brian Kemp permits Georgia Notaries Public to perform Remote Online Notarizations, it would mean that they could better serve Georgia residents and other states that also currently do not allow their Notaries Public to perform Remote Online Notarizations.

It is time to change this policy because this directly impacts Georgia Notaries Public and disadvantages them greatly in terms of work and employment in their chosen field.
