This easy accessibility to inappropriate content is silently eroding the moral fabric of our society, particularly affecting young impressionable minds.

Our youth, who are the future leaders and torchbearers of our nation, are being ensnared in a web of addiction and disillusionment. As we strive to cultivate a society grounded in strong cultural values and ethical standards, the proliferation of such content poses a significant threat. According to studies, excessive consumption of pornographic content can lead to unrealistic expectations, unhealthy relationship dynamics, and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

This issue is not just a personal struggle but a national crisis. The availability of pornographic websites, social media pages, and explicit digital content is rampant across the internet, making it almost impossible to evade, even with sophisticated blocking tools. The need for a nationwide prohibition is paramount to safeguard our future generations from falling prey to this societal ill.

We urge the government of Pakistan to take decisive action by banning all forms of pornographic content and implementing stringent regulations to prevent its re-emergence through VPNs, VPSs, and other bypass methods. By employing advanced cyber monitoring and filtering technologies, it's possible to build a digital barrier that protects the vulnerable.
