Like many people, I believe that every creature has the right to live without abuse or violence. Sadly, in Maricopa County, these rights are being overlooked. A woman who admitted to brutalizing three innocent pups: Pepe, Griffin and Gus is walking free. Prosecutors claim lack of evidence, but police say the dogs "had injuries consistent with animal abuse"; the suspect had a journal with graphic descriptions of the abuse; she admitted to involvement twice to police; she a lengthy record in and out of jail. 

The Maricopa County Attorney needs to take immediate steps to uphold justice for these defenseless animals. Please sign this petition, let’s demand justice for abused animals in our community.
