
In addition to the obvious consequences of clear-cutting, an overlooked disastrous consequence is the loss of habitat for the wildlife existing there. Once the “plat” is reduced to literally just dirt all that was there is dead and gone. The birds and wildlife that are extinguished are a necessary part of our ecosystem.
