A few weeks ago, I found a dog on Adopt a Pet.com, I found a blue nose pitbull that I thought I wanted so when I clicked on him it took me straight to Hannah Society. I made an appointment to meet the dog and when I showed up they put me on hold twice and I finally was able to go in, my mom and I got put into a back room with nothing but a desk and computer. We waited for this dog to be shown to us, the dog we looked out wasnt exactly what we were looking for so the lady talking to us offered a few more dogs.

She soon brought in another pup, blue nose as well and he was in there for what she says was 4 weeks.. his ribs, hip bones and spine COMPLETELY shown.. the other dog, 8 year old bulldog who was yellow from how much pee was on him, ribs showing, spine showing, hip bones same. I knew I was taking the blue nose but the bulldog stole my heart too and asked if I could take him for free since she was telling me he would never be adopted because of his age. She wouldnt let me..

The next day she called me and told me I could now take him for free, that he was extrememly healthy with ZERO health complications.. hmm..  so in talking to my husband we decided we couldnt, just our busy schedule wouldnt allow it with a new dog and new home and our 1 year old, BUT my mom really wanted too. As soon as my mom said to the lady, the lady changed her toon and took him off the website and all of a sudden had health “complications”even though the day before he was perfectly healthy according to this lady at Hannah..

My mom and I posted this bulldog everywhere trying to find him a home and all of sudden it was like he never existed. Upon further communication with other people who work for veterinary clinics and have had first hand experience with Hannah Society, they have told me that they are a terrible company who let people work on animals that have no vet experience.. could explain why my dog who they said was neutered doesnt look like it all.. still has a ball actually.

They overcharge for pets and give no care to them at all.. they should have an open investigation. 1. From the previous investigations for putting animals down. And 2. For neglect of animals for not feeding them. They will tell you they found all their dogs in a field in California.. that there dogs have been at their location for 4-8 weeks and you wonder why they havent gained any weight? Ive had my dog now for almost 2 weeks and his hip bones are no longer showing and finally filling out.. they also told me he was 2-3 years old and hes not.. hes maybe 1.. maybe.

These dogs and cats that are forced to be in that place should be removed immediately and placed in foster cares or rescues that will actually love and take care of them. Ive been nothing but mad and nothing but heartbroken for that precious bulldog that just wanted love. I tried texting the lady and ask her about him since I heard he was “sick” but she wont reply to either my mom or myself. Its sickening that this company can even stay working with animals.
