GOVENOR HERE ME. Suwannee Correctional Institute and Baker Re-Entry need to be shut down and I would estimate a third fired for illegal activities on contractor and state employees. PEOPLE WILL NOT WORK FOR SOMEONE WHO PROMISES A HIRING BONUS AND THEN MAKES SURE THEY NEVER MAKE IT TO THE END OF PROBATION TO GET IT. There are dedicated employees working 7 days a week in exchange for favors. Nurses becoming irate if you come near her drugs. But she has the Lieutenant to protect her. When did an inmate become so worthless that they had to experience rage from a nurse who threatens death? 

WHY IS POLITICS BUILDING AND CREATING HOSTILE and DEADLY COMPOUNDS ACROSS THE STATE AND ALLOWING THIS TYPE OF DISGRACEFUL BULLYING? RAPES. RACISM, HATE AND DISMISSAL IF YOUR HONEST?? But IT DISGUSTS ME THAT SCI whom also sits at the 75 corridor, is able to monetize from the contraband brought in. And this. You can have nothing with you. Understandable until it gets to MY BIBLE. You STEP INTO THE PATH GOD PLANNED, YOU JUST SERIOUSLY STEPPED INTO MY BOUNDARIES. From WARDEN LANE To the last brick, it needs to be bleached and stripped and taken to the dump. The rest need to sit in a jail and see what that feels like. I know people who have been to a cell 3 or more times… then offered job back. We have to eat. There are no jobs with benefits here, we are to small. So the Florida Correctional System says, “ we can take advantage.

CROSS CITY EMPLOYEES. DONT TRANSFER HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CRUMBLED EVEN IF YOU HAVE CANCER, trying to BE HONEST AND JUST LIVE. Please DONT DO THIS TO YOURSELF. Find a real job where you are valued, not used.

TOO MANY correctional officers have been conditionally discharged or falsely fired due to lack of proper video AND audio to support officers innocence. Inmates are subjected to excessive force, added time etc, with no video or audio to defend themselves. At this present time, there are a few cameras placed where it doesn’t matter.

We are requesting that ALL prisons be wired for both types of surveillance AND only Florida Department of Corrections facilities in Tallahassee will have the authority to edit/view said recordings. Every single area, including CONTRACTOR work areas and outside. No more closet sex between inmates and kitchen staff.

NO MORE officers bringing in cartons of cigarettes and selling to inmates at $1000 a piece.

NO MORE officers making substantial income from drugs brought by them.

NO MORE nurses putting certain inmates meds in a packet and asking officers to hand off and “do not open” said to them. That is illegal.

NO MORE nurses going out into parking lot to pick up drugs. Illegal.

NO MORE NURSES OR OFFICERS THREATENING TO HARM INMATES WHEN THEY DON’T do as they say. Zero conversation to inmates about another inmate or officer should be a rule.

With this knowledge of video and audio in their hands, both employees and inmates will be able to have the respect and chance to prove their innocence rather than help attorneys and Florida make money off of false claims.

With this knowledge of cameras and audio EVERYWHERE, it will be the problem employees leaving rather than those trying to uphold their work ethics and prove their worth every single day, fighting to claim their innocence in the Florida’s prison system. 
I am aware that both video and audio work because I was employed in a prison in another state set up with both.  After the abrupt leaving of many employees, we started seeing employees coming there to work with Integrity, not vindictiveness or monetary reasons. The drugs disappeared and then video was set up for inmate visitation.  From the dust, a new warden picked up his prison and cleaned it up in one month because of audio and video. ONE MONTH! COME ON GOVERNOR DESANTIS… HELP. WE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CRUISE SHIPS RUNNING… HELP!

It is time that politics stop controlling a prison’s work environment rather than integrity. With as much suffering taking place in this world I wish for the people of Florida to know, these people inside the system, regardless of their titles, are suffering financially, emotionally and forced into detrimental conflicts regarding employment opportunities in the future being thrown away because the Florida Prison System would rather hide and use the system to their advantage.

STOP the punishment of those who are UNABLE to work the mandatory 16 hr shifts of forced overtime because they are dangerously so low in employees. That is another reason for conditional discharge before probation. If you can’t work your given hrs and at least 20+ hrs of overtime every week, and you don’t volunteer to leave, the administration starts telling you, “maybe you should transfer.” If that does not work, you WILL be fired. Hence, employees who do everything perfect while slipping contraband into the prisons are kept so they can tear down the system even farther.

More examples:

An employee is set up from the beginning, with a 1 yr probation and most don’t make it if they do not suit just one person they work for or with, mainly Lieutenants and Captains, or witness and/or harassed by other employees,which means the bonus that was promised when signing up to work is gone and then mostly followed by arrest. No more. The jails that house many of these officers overnight, also agree that something needs to change. They see officers arrested for bogus ideas, made to hire an attorney, spend money they don’t have, like my Cancer money saved for future treatments which is now gone and then OFFERED their jobs back if they can BEHAVE. WHAT???

If a person holds a law enforcement badge on top of corrections, they will be conditionally discharged. Even though that officer needed two jobs and was dual certified. Their training in spotting details, a very effective skill needed in the prisons, is feared. Why? 

Then there are the women officers who are conditionally discharged because inmates perform sexual acts in front of them and then male officers TURN AGAINST them and spread the rumors about them having sex with inmates leading to gregarious bullying and eventual discharge. There were 3 employees in my family. Two conditionally discharged and one fired. How many are there out here just like us. 

We also must remember those over 50 plus years are able to work… if they were put into a easy area of prisons where they put the 20+ year olds instead. We have seen 70+ yr olds put in confinement while a young person is out front at gate checking off names. The rovers are their homes until the prison can find a way to dismiss them.

NO MORE TRANSFERRING ANYONE BECAUSE THEY KNOW SOMETHING AND ARE PROMOTED TO COVER THE FLORIDA PRISON SYSTEM RATHER THAN FIRED WHILE OFFICERS ARE THROWN TO THE GATES LEFT AND RIGHT.

THE EMPLOYEE SHORTAGE IN PRISONS ARE BECAUSE OF THESE TYPES OF ABUSE. And they are running them off? Why? Don’t blame the employees. Blame the wardens who clear you of all wrong doing and then decide to fire you anyway.

PLEASE help innocent people who are trying to make a living be able to work WITHOUT the needed hostile work environment the administration believes is needed to control their people. The inmates know prisons are underemployed and it is just a matter of time before they take advantage of it.

Incorporate AUDIO and ADD more videos.  Please help the inmates who are also a part as they are just as defamed as an officer who did no wrong. Both Officers and inmates are over-punished because they tell the truth. They are gifted when they defend the administration. Thats wrong, we live in Florida NOT Germany and it has to stop. Please forward and stand for fellow humans who are just trying to make it right. Humans that matter, humans that deserve fair treatment rather than be used to benefit the bad in our Florida Prison system.

It is time to live up to what they claim. I don’t see prisons transforming anyone, just chew them up and spit them out. The RE-Entry centers are a joke. No teaching to relive, just a free place to get people to bring drugs. Ever seen an inmate smoking crack in their dorm at re-entry? We have. Right in front of officers. How about K2? Yep.. it thrives. Stop waiting for the big wigs to come from Tallahassee to clean up for inspection. This is just the beginning. We have many stories and names. We want our Florida prison system cleaned up, from the Inspector Generals to the inmates.

 We are asking legislators to DEMAND that every human working or living inside Florida prisons to have safety, fairness and the ability to honor their badge through integrity. Please help this petition get there and help make a change. We appreciate everyone who has the ability to stand up for what is right and signs to make a change once and for all.
