Why do you think the Air quality in your city hasn't gone worst than what it is today"Trees" 

Trees don't just do the Job decorating earth by giving it this greenish-blue color when viewed from, They have the Job of absorbing emissions from the air, acting as a great storage system for greenhouse gasses. Thuse by also emitting breathable air. Dust from the desert carried thousand of miles  are filtered by trees in  the various rain forest,across the globe  which I bet you didn't know,  

How do you define Deforestation, it is the clearing or thinning of forests by humans. There are 2 Main major rainforest in the world the Congo Rainforest in central Africa and the Amazon rain forest in south America they  are particularly critical to climate efforts, because they store the most carbon. They are mainly hardwood and have no dormant period.which means their growth is all year round an they have been victims of major legal , illegal, and excessive logging .

Tropical forests are also key for biodiversity: they are home to 90% of the world’s species,of trees herbs also including iconic species under threat such as chimps, gorillas, forest elephants and orang-utans and many population that have made the rainforest their homes and are  forced to move from their original settlement  in fear of losing their precious environment such as the pigmies' of the Congo rain forest .

, Forest ecosystems are integral to local people’s culture, food, water and livelihoods.

One Minor to solution to prevent the shrinkage in these rain forest could be the implementation of "One down .two up " system  in this scenario where For each tree cut down 2 tree are planted to replace it .
