The Deepwater Horizon oil spill happened on April in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico and it continues to hurt the ocean today. This oil spill was due to BP gas. The oil spill was one of the worst environmental crisis ever! 11 human deaths and over 100,000 animal deaths. Still to this day sea creatures are harmed by this tragic cause. It will take over 69 years for recovery to happen. This petition is to have BP provide more money to help the environment or for BP to be closed for good. Because who wants to get gas from a company that killed many.
