Only SOME of the healthy birds will be saved? That means only some of some. Not a very high statistic of life saving measures at at all. In the news videos of the roosters being held, many of them were very young half sized birds. I can't imagine many of them being unhealthy as knowing flock owners, they have to keep the whole group healthy to insure disease doesn't spread. In fact, they looked in great shape in the video, unless the birds suffered trauma in their capture, relocation, or care facility. We have been contacted by several sanctuaries throughout the country with offers to assist with some of the healthy birds. We will be reaching out to them in the coming days and are hopeful that many of the birds can move on to a positive outcome. Thank you!
