Right now, as you're reading this petition, the Municipality of Fes, in Morocco, is gathering hundreds of stray dogs, on a daily basis to be voluntarily stacked in inhumane conditions. tortured, and left to starve to death. We need your help to get an immediate mandate to stop this.

Right now, as you're reading this petition, Animal Cruelty against Stray Animals is NOT recognized by Moroccan legislation, and therefore is unpunished.This means, anybody, anywhere in Morocco, can torture stray dogs and stray cats without consequences.

And this is already happening. Every day. Thousands of dogs are being mass murdered, in the absence of a nation-wide effort to control stray dog population.

Ending mass murdering of dogs in Morocco is long overdue. There have been multiple mass killing events reported at different locations: mass shooting near Casablanca, Morocco, mass starvation, etc. Multiple local organizations have been very active in reporting on social media. However, they remain unheard. Hence, we need international support. Our view is that only public opinion can help our advocacy and rectify this omission. First and foremost, we need help to obtain an immediate mandate to stop this deliberate and callous extermination of animals.
