Animals are not being respected or treated fairly, they are being abused and stripped of their already very limited freedom/rights. Animal abuse or injustice is often a result of an already abusive household, the owner not being able to take care of them properly (neglect), many do it for money (as a job) like slaughterhouses and things similar. Since we can’t directly speak to animals ourselves and they are not able to speak up about this issue on their own, my main focus is to have all kinds of people become educated on this topic, whether they are a pet owner or not. Once more and more people get educated on animal rights they can then further investigate or try to help. Some of your favourite pets or animals such as horses,livestock,cats,dogs,rodents,rabbits are most commonly affected by animal cruelty and lack of rights. But, of course there are countless other animals affected. This is affecting the literal lives of animals because every single second an animal is killed and every year over 10 million animals are killed from abuse alone. This issue is so important to address because people need to start understanding the serious and undeserved pain that these animals go through every single day. These poor helpless animals are being stripped of their lives by being forced to inhale toxic fumes, they are being burned, blinded, they are being injected with various things in all parts of their body. These are the same animals that many of us have at home and would never want anything to hurt them. So why should the lives of these animals be any different? Why shouldn't they be protected just like our pets? Animals like this also serve important roles like service animals or therapy/comfort animals. And of course animal testing is just one of the horrible injustices of animal rights as there are many other examples like animals in entertainment, hard labour, hunting/skinning, household abuse etc...
